• Merch is the life blood of many bands and musicians. The merch market is not only a great way to pick up rare merch and vinyl, it’s a way for creatives to make their mark and show their hard work to a bigger audience. With live performances on stage interviews and plenty of stalls, the Merch Market supports and is inspiring way to spend your free time. We’ve been lucky enough to be a part of it twice, it’s a great idea and both events have been memorable. Thank you Tim. Long may it continue.

    Sea Fever

  • We sold 100 overstock T-shirts without any fees Interacted with our loyal fan base At a unique day for music lovers

    Milltown Brothers

  • Tim Burgess’ Merch Market is an amazing free event that puts musicians and grassroot venues first. Being able to sell merch and keep 100 percent of the profits makes a real difference, and having musicians play on our founding patron Terry Hall’s piano throughout the day was incredibly special to us. It was a joy to be part of and we look forward to the next one– it is an event not to be missed!

    Tonic Music

  • The sales boost we had with our merch etc was certainly in hand with the amazing atmosphere at the merch market. Thousands of like minded music and art lovers looking to share their ideas and stories amongst eachother whilst watching some of the best live music you could ask for. We met so many new friends and became huge fans of many of the artists taking part. A brilliant day all round.

    The Folk Drama

  • Merchandise is an important income stream for ACR and the The Merch Market gave us an extra opportunity to sell it outside of our tours.

    A Certain Ratio

  • With the increased costs of touring our merch sales are a primary source of funding it. We’re doing some exciting gigs that I don’t think would have been financially possible without Merch Market. Chatting to hundreds of people also helped boost ticket sales

  • What an amazing experience Tim Burgess's Merch Market was. To be part of it was incredible. In a world where it seems like everyone wants to take a cut of everything you have, it's super humbling to hear someone say "No!" and follow through on that sentiment. No fees for artists to have a table! No percentage of merch takings! No cost for fans to come and immerse themselves in live music, interviews and all the Merch you can imagine. It is a truly amazing experience!

    The Cords

  • The Merch Market was a truly wholesome community building experience regardless of what stage of your career you're in. It gave me the opportunity to connect with other bands/artists and music lovers and even make some sales to people who didn't know me before they walked through the door. It was such an honour to have been a part of it.

  • "Being part of The Merch Market has been genuinely brilliant. I've traded at both the Manchester and London markets, selling prints and posters to plenty of happy customers. The real value is connecting with bands, industry folk and the indie music-loving public. It's a unique, important and genuine event for artists and fans."

  • “A brilliant experience as a stall holder and guest speaker. Like the cross between a festival And a car boot sale. Absolutely loved it. Especially meeting everyone who was buying stuff. Real community feeling.”

James Brown (Ex NME / Loaded)

  • Stall holders sell and customers buy but it’s much more than that. Stall holders bond, customers make new friends, the sense of a community of music lovers is so strong and optimistic and valuable.

    Dave Haslam

  • “Tim Burgess’ Merch Market is a gift to true fans and to artists – a celebration of the culture and community of music and a bloody great day out”
